milliwattlabs.com is run by Emtanon LLC (“we”). The site sets no cookies and has no analytics, ads or tracking scripts. Every file comes from our own server; pages load nothing from anyone else.
The server log
Like most web servers, ours writes one line per request: your IP address, the time, the page or file, the page that linked to it, and your browser’s user agent. We use it to keep the site working and to count visits and downloads. The log is deleted after 15 days.
What we keep
Once an hour we turn the log into daily totals: visitors, views per page, the sites that linked here (such as X, Hugging Face, Google or GitHub), downloads per file, and how many visitors loaded the demo. To count each visitor once per day, IP address and browser are combined into a one-way hash with a random key that is never saved. The totals contain no IP addresses, hashes or anything else that identifies you, and we keep them.
We don’t sell or share personal data, and we don’t use the log to identify or follow anyone.
The demo
The demo turns text into speech in your browser. What you type stays on your device; it is never sent to us or anyone else. Speech made with Leokani-tts carries an inaudible watermark, built into the model, that lets Milliwatt Labs recognize audio it generated. The mark is the same in all audio and contains no information about you or your text. Your browser downloads the voice model from this site and keeps a copy so the demo starts faster next time. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes it.
Hugging Face
Our models are also published on Hugging Face, a separate service. When you visit it or download from it, Hugging Face’s privacy policy applies. We see only the public download count it shows everyone.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply.
Children
This site is for a general audience and isn’t directed at children under 13. Beyond the server log, we collect nothing from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and its effective date.
