Simple vs Advanced

New song has two modes, Simple and Advanced. The last one you used opens next time.

Simple needs lyrics.

Advanced

Style is the sound in your own words, on one line of up to 400 characters, like “dreamy synth-pop, gated drums, female vocal”. Switching from Simple fills it in from your picks.

Advanced needs a style. It also has Seed, Sketches and Import MIDI.

Lyrics

Up to 3,000 characters. The section buttons add a tag on its own line:

Too many words for 1:00. and These lyrics cap the song at 2:30. are warnings. Make it still works.

Title

Optional. Without one, the song is named after its first line.

Length

0:30 to 4:50, in 10-second steps. New songs start at 1:00. A song can end before the length you pick.

Seed

Advanced only. A whole number from 0 to 4,294,967,295; leave it empty for a random one, or tap Random seed.

Every song's seed is in Song settings, with Copy seed. Use it with the same style and lyrics to get close to the same take.

Sketches

Advanced only. Choose how many, from 1 to 6, and tap Sketch. Play each one, then tap Make this one on your favorite.

Sketches clear when you change the style or lyrics.
