Leokani for Mac

Type or paste text and Leokani reads it aloud, offline. Needs a Mac with Apple silicon and macOS 15 or later.

Install

Download Leokani-1.1.dmg, open it and drag Leokani onto Applications.

Speak

The Speed slider sets the pace, from 0.75× to 1.5×. Saved files are 24 kHz mono WAV.

Use with Claude

Choose Leokani > Connect to an AI app… and click Copy. Paste it into Claude Desktop (Settings > Developer > Edit Config) or any MCP client, then restart the client:

For Claude Code:

claude mcp add leokani -- /Applications/Leokani.app/Contents/Helpers/leokani mcp

Then ask Claude to say something out loud, or to save it as a WAV. The tools are listed in Command line.
